I just read that if you start a routine with your unborn baby and spend atleast 10 min a day just talking to him/her, or playing music that you will start a bond that they will remember for their whole life!
I have always done that from the moment I find out I am pg...I just thought it was cool!!
Do any of you do that or have you?

Me and the twins do this daily :lovestruck
Every morning when I wake up, I rub my stomach and talk to them and ALWAYS after I get Nick's e-mails I read them outloud to them and tell them they're from daddy .. he always puts something in there for them :giggle :wub ( Hey I know it's silly but he's a happy daddy, what can I say? )
And then at the end of the day when I lay down I do the same ... It's our "thing" .. :lol

I used to talk to Sydney all the time. My husband was deployed while I was pregnant and I would read her his emails and I'd tell her about him.

I use to play music for Brayden when he was in my tummy. Not sure if he liked it or not, but he did prefer to sleep with music playing for the first 6 months or so.

Yep...I did that when I was pregnant. I'd talk to him and play with my belly..I'd push and he would push back...and then when Daddy would play music Eian would get really jumpy in my belly and then everytime Daddy would come home and sit next to me and start talking Eian would shift ALL the way as far as he could to that side of the belly and if Daddy moved sides Eian would move to that side Daddy was on. And then if I had a bad kick day (where I was sore from Eian kicking all day) Nate would just put his hand on my belly and whisper something on my belly and Eian would stop kicking...it was really cute....Eian came out with a big bond with Daddy...I had to work on the son bond with me...I bonded right away (from the moment in my belly) but Eian was such a Daddy's boy that he didn't want Mommy.

I totally thought that was something that all pregnant women just...did. Good to see that it's good for something :giggle

James and I allways read to Nate when he was in my tummy. With joshua we all read as a family at night I spend quality time with Josh rubbing my tummy and he trys to hit my hand and I move it and he trys to follow it's fun. Nate likes putting gummy worms on my tummy and he even talks to him. It's funny Nate can wake him up and when Josh hears Nate laughing or talking he moves around allot and when Nate is quite he is so the boys are kind of already bonded.

I haven't been pregnant, but when I am..I will do the same thing. I'm taking a child psych class and that's been brought up.
Another cool thing that studies have shown is that your temperment during your pregnancy affects theirs. When you stress, you create hormones that the placenta can not filter out. It affects the baby's mood/temperment and extent of their fussiness when they're a newborn.
(My child psych teacher told me that, so I'm almost positive it's true. :lol She's 74 and is a member of the American Psychologist Association.)
