Ok, bear with me please, is there such thing as a 9 month well baby check up??? This is probably a very ignorant question but I have no clue... I took Ryan to his 6 month check up / shots, last month and I know I need to take him again at 12 months but is there any check ups in between??? :confused Help!:shrug

yup! sometimes docs like to see them for 9 months 1) if they need to catch up on shots and also it was added to check weight and just in general nutrion and all that. the peds office I was at had a 9 mo check! :D HTH!

There used to be, at least here, but when I called to make it, they said they aren't doing them any longer. ??? Not sure why, but I called Tricare back and they said it was true, that it's just 1 year after the 6 months checkup.

Yeah there is. It basically is to see how they are growing etc. Weight and height check. But no shots. E had a 9 month checkup :D

Cam had a 9 month checkup, and had to get shots then too because she had bronchitis around the time of her 6 month checkup and got behind on shots.

Yes, both of my kids had a 9 month check up. Madison had shots at hers but Hayden didn't. Madison had been seeing a civilian dr. though and had her shots at different times than Hayden did.

For Hayden though they just checked growth and such.

Hailey had a 9 month check up. She's always been up to date on her shots, and was given one at her 9 month appt.
