ok, I have lost 115 lbs :yahoo and I have another 24lbs to go til I hit my goal weight. But after 4 pregnancies (one a twin pregnancy) and losing all that weight I have a lot of extra belly, skin. :( sorry.. may be TMI. :wink but Ive talked to DH and he said he is ok with the expense of having a tummy tuck done for me. Has anyone had one? Im a little nervous about having it done but I think I would feel SO much better about the way I look if I did! TIA.

oh and Im thinking.. while Im having the tummy tuck (if I decide to go through with it) I think I will have the girls lifted too!!! :thinking :hehe

Tricare will pay for your tummy tuck if you can get your PCM to vouch for you that you need it for muscle reconstruction.. and after multiple pregnancies, I can't see them turning you down! Good luck!

yup..tricare will pay..they will also pay for breast augmentation..i had gastric by pass and in 6 months im eligable for both..give it a try..what can it hurt? good luck

I haven't had one myself but i defintely plan to after I'm done having kids. My friend had a tummy tuck and breast inplants. Her stomache looks so good.. and she had extra skin from being very heavy her whole life and then having a kid.

hmmmmmm i wonder if that would work for me too. LOL although i would think i would need to lose some more weight first.

Wow! That is incredible! I am very proud of you. Tell me what you did. I have to lose about 125 lbs. It is very encouraging to hear you did it. I will also probably need a tummy tck cause I had 3 c-sections. Let me know what you find out.

I need one! I wonder if they will give one for having a c-section?

I had lost some of the weight before getting pregnant with Katie, Im holding her in the picture. I dont have any full body before or after pics :( Ive lost over 40lbs since DH left on deployment so I only take pics of me from the shoulders up so he cant see all the weight loss lol.. I want to surprise him! ;) oh and the after pic..Ive lost another 15 lbs since that was taken.

I did that when i lost 9 lbs (i was so proud) - he loved it!! First thing he said was WOW! So greattt idea!! Congrats on the weightloss. You gotta give me some tips- i gained tht 9 lbs back haha

My mom had a tummy tuck, lipo in her inner thighs and hips, breast augmentation, and eyelid surgery...she looks amazing...as soon as I hit my goal weight (and I'm done having kids) I'm having all the same except the breasts, I just need a lift...

Kathy, I didnt know you had gastric bypass!! How did you get tricare to pay?

I talked with my PCM and he said it is iffy whether they actually get the ok to go through with them. I was asking him if I had lost my weight. He told me he has seen some go through and he knew of on lady who lost over 100 lbs and tricare wouldn't pay for it for her. I have about 20-30 more to lose and then I will ask again.
