how much formula should a 4 1/2 month baby should be drinking? DD is drinking like 24-27 ounces a day and is drinking it like every 5 hrs... is this good?:dunno

she should probably be eating every 4 hours during the day.. but that much formula in 24 hours is about right.

well the doc told me she was good with the amount she was drinking... but for some reason today she has been wanting to play and is drinking every 5 hrs... i hope its only for 2day

oh if she only does it one day then it's fine :D

at that age 25-40 oz is normal. If she is eating any solids then she should be in the lower range. As long as she is growing, and staying in the same percentile, then she is getting plenty of nutrition.
