Legs 10-04-2006, 10:55 PM Here's what I do: I lb or so of turkey sausage pinchful of sage and oregano and pepper and such Mix it together with bread crumbs, almost like meatfloaf and make 2 loaves out of it. Then cut the acorn squash in half, scooping out the seeds. In a pan, put a bit of water. Then add the 2 loaves of meatloaf to the middle of the acorn squash and put that in the pan with the water. I cook usually about 45 minute on 400 in the oven. I serve with wild rice and a veggie. Always a big hit at my house! :D Michele 10-04-2006, 11:05 PM I usually cut it in half, deseed it. Then I put butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and bake. :hungry MelissaMc424 10-04-2006, 11:09 PM both of those sound really yummy! sgmwife1 10-05-2006, 06:27 AM Acorn squash is very pretty when cooked slightly and then stuffed with stuffing and bake for a bit to crust the top. Delish and pretty. Amber V 10-05-2006, 06:57 AM I usually cut it in half, deseed it.
