MilitarySOS is now taking submissions for Front Page Photo of the Month, which means your photo will be the featured photo on the front page of MilitarySOS.com (http://militarysos.com)!

There is no deadline for submissions so feel free to submit your photo at any time. Depending on the number of submissions I receive, your photo may or may not be featured and could take up to several months to appear if it is selected.

The basic guidelines for submissions are:


Photo must be clear and good quality. I don't have set guidelines for size or dimensions but the larger/higher quality photo you submit, the easier it will be for me to resize. Thus, increasing your chances for having your photo featured.

Photo MUST have you AND your significant other in it. You can be standing side by side, hugging, kissing, holding hands, etc. I don't really care what you're doing (no X-rated photo's though, please :ohno ;) ) as long as both of you are in the picture.

Your significant other MUST be in uniform. The type of uniform is not important... dress, working, utilities, I don't care.


Last but not least, by submitting your photo to me, you are granting me rights to modify and use your photo as I see fit. :)

Please include your name and/or username so I can give credit to you if your photo is featured!

If you have a wedding pic that you'd like to submit, please do! As long as it follows the guidelines with him being in some type of uniform and both of you being in the picture, it's just as good as any other type of pic :D

For the front page, I'm only taking submissions with couples. However, I would like to eventually start something with parent/child pics. I'll wait til after I have Hunter to embark on anything new so I don't start something that won't be finished or followed through :hehe but hopefully I can eventually get something like that together :yes

I just wanted to say thank you so much to those of you who have already submitted photos! They are ALL absolutely GORGEOUS! I will probably just randomly select a photo to feature and try to rotate them out at least once a month, maybe more frequently so I can have a chance to show off all of the beautiful photos! No, I still have the ones that were submitted before our server move, but they are on Jason's computer right now b/c they are no longer in my email on my server. So, I'll have to wait until we can move them to an extra hard drive and move them all over onto my computer before I can use them. :insomnia
