Then why do I feel SO bad ? I woke up this morning literally almost throwing up .. I barely made it to the bathroom and then OH MY GAAAHHH, my boobs, ... they hurt SO BAD ...they have been a little tender but this morning it was HORRIBLE ..they are so swollen and tender ... I know that part will just get worse but come on ...the sickness .. wasn't that suppossed to end already :irked :mumble

How long did you guys have your "morning" sickness?

Everybody is different and every pregnancy is different. Some people have morning sickness right thru delivery. I have some women in my EDD threads that are still dealing with hypermesis (severe vomiting) at 20+ weeks. It just really varies.

There is no magic number. Alot of women do start feeling better. The 2nd trimester technically starts around 12-14 weeks since you will find all sorts of varying info on it. So I usually consider 13 weeks the start. They say 14 plus weeks is usually when you start to feel better, less peeing, less fatigue etc

For me my fatigue is still here. I nap EVERY day with E. I am sure chasing him around wears me out too. And then I am still peeing constantly and have been. And my boobs have hurt since day 1. Some days are worse then others

ETA as far as morning sickness goes I never got anything more then nauseated with E and this baby

I only had sickness with Elizabeth, the other 2 I didn't get sick AT ALL! But I had ALL day sickness with her until I was almost 15 weeks!!

I pretty much had morning sickness throughout my entire pregnancy with Caleb. It was horrible the first 3 months, then it varied the rest of the time. As long as I stayed away from certain foods, I was okay for the most part.
With Colin, I never got sick...

with my son smells made me nauseated , we had a roommate that made pork fried rice and it sent me out of the apartment. The one time I did get sick, we had just eaten French toast and it did not stay down..

awww Becky, I hope you feel better! But it is soo true that every pregnancy with every woman is different, so who knows what to expect really!

Every pregnancy is different. With Emily I was never sick, but tired.

With Noah, I was sick as a dog for 6 1/2 months :sick. All I did was throw up. It was horrible!!

My best friend is about 13 weeks prego right now and she has been in and out of the hospital since day one. She is so violently sick and can't keep anything down at all. They had to call an ambulance for the 4th time to take her back to the hospital for passing out. It's a horrible mess.........ok now I am rambling..sorry!!

Buy some bra extenders (walmart, target, motherhood have em) that will help. Your boobs will continue to grow and grow. I was an A/B when I got preg with E. By the time my milk came in I was a D. I started this pregnancy a B/C and am spilling out of my C and will need a D shortly.

I didn't have morning sickness with either of my kids but my boobs were tender then entire pregnancy with both of them.

I've had friends though who have had morning sickness throughout the pregnancy! One was in the hospital with both her girls because she had hyperemesis the entire time. :oogle

When I was pregnant with Eian I had morning sickness (well ALL day sickness) till I was 4 1/2 months...everyday. I couldn't stand any smells, and to take showers I had to sit in the tub with the shower head running just so when I had to vomit the drain was right there...it was so bad. I napped all the time.
I hope you get to feeling better!!! The sickenss and the pain sucks but in the end it's all worth it :) :)

It started for me at 9 weeks and lasted till about 16 :D

I got really lucky and morning(or all day sickness in my case) shut off like a switch at 12 weeks. THank god !! I hope you feel better soon chick. Have they given you anything for the nausea?

They haven't given me anything but I haven't really ask for anything ... I don't want to take anything unless I absolutley have to .... I feel better about an hour or two after I wake up but boy while it's going on :sick

Well i have never had morning sickness to the point of actually getting rid of stuff (thats the nice way to put it) but i had all boys too so i dont think thats quite true that boys tend to make you sicker. actually with my oldest son you hardly even knew i was pregnant. with my second it was the same way. i might have felt a tad bit queasy but i never felt that sick. with Robbie i had more queasiness but i still never got sick. i had some food aversions but that was about it.

i sure hope this doesnt last to much longer for you becky.

With Nate after 4 months I was good to go with Joshua I have been sick and put on medication for morningsickness then heartburn I am onprilosec OTC for that my boobs are hurting all the time. This pregnancy is totaly diffrent than Nates by far. I hope things get better but you never know Becky talk to your doctor if things get too bad there is medication they can give you.
