Well, i am getting ready to send DH a Valentines package, but I can't think of anything creative. He is one of those guys who is very manly, so anything I would normally do is usually too gushy for him. Any ideas?

I'm in the same predicament... I bought a shirt tonight at Target and a really simple card that I'll write in myself. Other than that all I can think of is candy... he's just not one of those guys that a really sappy thing works for... he's sort of got an image he's established as one of the tough guys and I'm not even going to mess with that one... LOL

I hate buying DH gifts. I never know what to get him. This year since he is deployed I figured I would try to get him at least one thing that is sentimental so I went online and had a personalized calendar with pics and special sayings that me him and the kids are always telling eachother made up for him from shutterbug.com. I hope he likes it. I also got him a really nice watch, a few shirts and some PSP games. Just a few ideas for you!

i'm trying to find one last thing for df. i bought him this nice aftershave from bath and body works (he always gets razor burn and this is moisterizer (sp?) and razor burn relief). it was f-ing $20 for a 2.5 oz. tube. you could always get him a new razor or something, my roommate got one for her husband who is in iraq. she got him the m3 turbo or something. that's what df uses too.

I thought this was neat but it also depends on if they like M&M's. You can get them personalized with some sayings. I have to find the website, not sure if it's just M&M.com or what it is. Be right back! :D

I sent dh Valentine themed silk boxer's, a talking picture frame and some homemade valentine's cards.

that m&m idea was great!! i'll have to do that. maybe for his b-day. i'm actually in the process of making josh (my boyfriend) a dvd to send to him once he gets to iraq. for christmas i had personalized dog tags made. each of us got one. they were actually pretty cheap, and i didn't have to pay any shipping. josh loved it because it had sweet stuff on it.. yet it was kinda masculine. i told him it was my "promise ring" to him. i wanted him to have something he could always have on him in iraq.. and since they have to wear their dog tags anyway.. i figured it'd be convenient. i'll look for the website and post it up.

make a recording of urself nothin fancy just all dressed up...( or undressed if hes a perv like my DH..lol) and do the sweet nothins there and mix cd's if u have limewire or frostwire are ALWAYS a winner....and PHONE CARDS are another guaranteed winner or even a gift cert to one of his fave stores even though that sounds sorta cold and so unpersonal...but hey its the thought that counts here right...lol.....or like what I did for DH...I had a set of tags made with a picture from our wedding on it and sent him that with a mix cd, some peanut butter cookies and a video of our wedding reception that I added to afterwards...
