View Full Version : WW Homestyle Meatloaf

3/4 cup ketchup, divided

1/4 cup minced fresh onion

2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

1 Tablespoon brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

2 large egg whites

1 1/2 lbs ground round but we used the 96% lean ground beef

1/2 cup quick cooking oats

Cooking Spray

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Combine 1/2 cup ketchup, onion, and next 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Add meat and oats; stir just until blended. Shape mixture into an 8 x 4 inch loaf on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Brush remaining 1/4 cup ketchup over meat loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Cut into 12 slices. Yield 6 servings (serving size 2 slices)

Just wanted to let you know that I made this the other night for my aunts birthday - the compliments were endless! My 10 year old twin cousins scarfed it down as well, and my aunt made me give her the recipe so she can make it another staple of their diet! THANK YOU!!!

wow its been a whole year since I posted that LOL. but yes it is good. I got that out of a WW recipe book too. I love it with mashed taters.

I made this last night and it was a huge hit. My DH loved it and so did me and the kids. Only 5 points you can't beat that.

well I got that recipe out of a WW cookbook. I dont know who came up with it but it is awesome.

I would think bread crumbs would work just as well

Well I do have that!!!! :D I've never make meatloaf my self :ohno but I love it!!! hopefully I wont mess it up :lol

breadcrumbs work well and you could also used any kind of crushed crackers if you are ever in a pinch!
