My honey is graduation from basic at Ft Leonard Wood in early Dec and I'm trying to arrange my travel. Does anyone have any experience with the hours for family day on the day prior to the ceremony, what time does the base open to family? I think I want to just drive down overnight but I want to time so I'm not stuck outside the base for a few hours waiting for them to let me in. He seems really adamant about me coming up early, I think he's worried I'll miss the hours. Awwwwwww. Also anyone know how many people are allowed to come? I know I'm jumpng the gun here, but I miss him so much, straightening out those details makes it feel shorter than it is.

Going won't be a problem, I know he'll see to it I get a pass. I'm concerned about bringing my daughter, but I can get a sitter for her if I must.

my boyfriend is graduating in that same time!!!! well i think his is mid december, he is at fort leonardwood too! you should get in touch with me. ericamstephens@yahoo.com

but yeah, my cousin also went through ft leonardwood as well (small world) and he had like 6 or 8 people at his graduation if i remember. it says you should arrive an hour prior, im not sure what time family day usually starts, but graduation usually starts at 10 am... but yeah, im going to my boyfriends graduation this december at ft leonardwood and as i hear (from his mom) that there is no family day anymore but the graduation is a day early (thats if our boys are in the same company, which they very well could be sinse i dont think there are many graduations in december, but i could be wrong)

anyway email me at
