I know, I know...alot of people hate videogames...primarily because your kids or SOs going into zombie mode while they are playing and act like you don't exist. They neglect responsibiilies and use it as a tool for avoidance.
I, however, love video games and I feel like they can be fun, entertaning and educational IF they are monitored correctly. I do recall people having the same arguments about TV years ago and now, with the right self-monitoring, it can be a reasonable form of household entertainment.
So, check out www.wii.com and look at the experience videos. Take a look at how nintendo is making their console more of a social form of entertainment. I'd like to know what non-gamers think of it? Would you be willing to try it? Would something that enourages more social interaction and physical involvement in the game help change your perspective on gaming?
Just curious.
