Chelly 01-17-2006, 02:25 AM I get mine from Michael's NavyFiance08 01-17-2006, 05:32 AM i do :) and usually get my patterns from Michael's as well....sometimes Wal-Mart has cute ones for a good deal as well. Caimbrie 01-17-2006, 08:51 AM I used to cross stitch when I actually had time. You can get patterns at pretty much any craft store :) CoffeeGirl 01-17-2006, 09:33 AM Michaels galxy8 01-17-2006, 12:48 PM Joann's. I really love their online selection . . . and plus they ship here and it gets here pretty quick. But I love shopping at Michaels and Walmart, too. airyn1 01-17-2006, 02:37 PM Either Walmart or Michaels. Sometimes you can find some cute ones for free online. I have a HUGE pattern of some Sunflowers that I found online that I'll probably never get around to doing. ETA: Here's what the finished product of that sunflower one is supposed to look like. It's 200 x 158 stitches. If anyone wants the pattern just PM me your email address and I'll email it to you. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y93/airyn1/sunflowerstitch.gif Iarya 01-21-2006, 12:59 PM Both my daughter and I crosstitch. I haven't done much in the past year because I had to have bifocals and it plays heck with stitching now. However, my daughter does beautiful stitchwork. I bought her a program for her comp that she can take a picture and make her own pattern. She has stitched our dogs and it looks like a photo it is so good. She has done portraits etc. She finds a picture she likes of whatever and she makes her own patterns. If any of you are hot and heavy into crosstitching I highly recommend getting a computer program and doing your own. A wedding day portrait of your mom and dad done in stitchery is a wonderful gift. Newborn's pics in stitches is great also. Mak327 09-12-2007, 11:07 AM Which software did you get? I've looked at a few different trial versions of ones, but haven't found one that I'm ever REALLY happy with. They are expensive, and I want to be sure I'll be happy with it if i buy one. As for patterns, -- Michael's, AC Moore, Ebay, Online, Wal-Mart, Cross Stitch Junction. I have found some wonderful ones that I need to go replenish specific colors of thread so that I can finish it.
