Hi all! I found this site by browsing on myspace. My name is Katy. I'm 20yrs old & from IL. My boyfriend Ian (22) is in the Army National Guard currently on his 2nd deployment to Iraq (this time he volunteered). He is from Nevada. We met through a website called http://www.adoptaplatoon.org which is where you can write to a "pen pal" soldier & I recieved his name last winter. We became friends at first getting to know each other better for a few months up until last August when he was granted leave (he was deployed last year when I first wrote him), he came out to see me (we were a couple a month before that) & we had a great time...:lovestruck That boy is something else hehe. Anyways well earlier this year we experienced a break-up (he signed up to go back w/o telling me & discovered he was approved to go back & figured it wasn't fair for me to have to go through with it again) & it sucked..Royally:banghead but earlier last month almost several months after not talking we started talking again & well he came out & apologized for being a idiot & whatnot & we got back together:pray :D . So here we are going through a long year deployment & hopefully once he gets home (for good) I'll be able to move out to NV to live with him:) Sorry this is long lol:hi
