Has anyone used them? I never did with the kids, always used those uncomfortable 'backpack' types. I hated them with a passion so I just asked my mom to get me this http://www.rockinbabysling.com/pages/slings_2.html

#030 (at the bottom middle pic on the page). Im soo excited I used to practice AP when it came to the kids sleeping at night when they were babies but I never tried baby wearing. I can't wait.

I want a sling myself.

I had a cheap snuggly carrier for Alex and hated it but for Cameron my mom bought me a baby Bjorn carrier and that one is so much better and more comfortable. I need to talk Tony into buying me a sling though hehe

I'm planning on getting a sling.

I figured when she wants to be held, it'd be easier to do things around the place or go places than holding her. Plus, I'd rather her close to me like that than in a car seat or whatever.

THis is a site I found, but their kind of expensive so I've been looking still:http://hotslings.com/

We're getting a carrier too....More for Phil to wear (:D) but I might use it once in awhiel too when she gets older.

I have one, I used it all of the time when Lance was first born. I don't use it as often, cause he wiggles too much!! But well worth the $!!!

Those slings are cheaper then the one I want. The one I want is 87 bucks. :lmao although I am very tempted to break out the sewing machine and make one of my own. that way the only cost Ill have is the fabric and the ring.

The baby carrier I have my mom paid $90 for lol $40 or so for the slings isn't bad.

I love my sling!!!!!!!!!!! I make my own so it only cost me $$ for fabric. I don't understand why they charge so much for them, they take all of 10 mintues to make, well the maya wrap style.

They are super easy to make and the rings are cheap too. I get mine from www.slingrings.com. She ships fast too. I have instructions on how to make them, I can post it if you like. :)

I have several different types of slings. I hate the ring types as they dig into my shoulder when I wear them after the first 3 months or so. I absolutely love my peanut shell though. I wear it for both of my kids and it's comfy with them both. The website is www.goo-ga.com I totally suggest before you buy any sling you see if anyone you know has one that you can try out.

Stacey, Do you know any stores around here that sell good baby slings? I am an instant gratification kind of person, I don't like buying stuff online unless I HAVE to. lol I like to see it at the store before I buy.

I got a sling and have only used it a few times, but I love it! It was 40 bucks, but we got the organic one because DH has really sensitive skin, so we wanted to take all precautions with little tooterpants...

I want one, but I refuse to pay that much for them. I just need to find someone to make it for me.

Ok now you I am going to buy a sling from Hotslings and I wanted your opinions lol....

Do you think it's weird for me to carry a baby boy in a pinkish colored sling?

This lady is here in San Diego. http://www.peekaboobabycollection.com/slings.html

She used to have them for sale in a shop here in Point Loma, but it isn't listed on the store list.

I used a sling for both my girls and loved it. Back when I used a sling for my first I hardly ever saw anyone else using one. Now they're really popular.
