:cloud9 my SO called for the first time in a month and 7 days today!!!!!! :yahoo I WAS SOOOOOOO HAPPY! i miss him so much, and the letters hes been sending are great and always make me so happy, but everyday ive had my cell by side hoping he would call. and today as i was napping... HE CALLED!!!! :bliss im just so unbelievably happy right now, it was just what i needed! i also found out that he is for sure (well as sure as can be with the military) coming home for christmas!!! :eek so a little less than 2 months until i see my man again! now... im gonna try and sleep that time away, that way itll get here faster... so while my SO is doing this :soldier :salute :shoot im gonna try and go do things like this :offtobed :bored :thinkin :kickcan and basically just wait for december to come :D :waiting YAY TODAY WAS JUST AMAZING... i am so in love with my SO:lovesign

Yay! That's awesome. Those phone calls are just priceless! I hope the good old military sticks to it's word on the holiday plans! That would be so cool.

oh girl!!!! You're soooo lucky!!!! I havn't heard from my SO since he left for Iraq....it's only been 2 weeks, but i havn't even gotten an email or a letter...IM DYING! grrr....i wish i could just hear from him already!

Lucky! Vic's using his one phone call to call his mom (boot camp), and he says if he does get rewarded another, he'll use it to call me. BUT I'm happy for you! It seems nice to get a phone call. T__T

thanks girls! yeah it really turned my weekend around. those phonecalls are just amazing... my SO left in september and ive only got 2 calls since then (including the one I just got) so it was just amazing to hear his voice again. I hope you guys all hear from your SO's as well, especially the one whos SO just left for IRAQ, that can be a tough time, my SO hasnt gone there, but my best guy friend did for a while, and it was way tough.

That is awesome! I live to hear those calls..it's all that sustains me sometimes. Basic Training was the WORST since all we got were letters and about 2 phone calls for 5 minutes each.
