ok so since im kinda new here i was wanting to know and wondering where everyone met their SO.

i met mine on myspace actually! its kinda funny.... i was in my first year of college and he was in korea. he sent me a friend request on myspace and me being the girl who doesnt accept anyone who i dont know:teehee , i noticed that he was from the same town my roommate was from so i asked her about him.... turns out she dated his best friend?! what a small world?! so we started talking and we became best friends. when he came back from korea at the end of last may we INSTANTLY clicked and we have been together since june 3rd, 2006! our 5 months is actually this friday! :teehee

i was just curious where everyone else met their SO! im sure its been talked about before but since im new... humor me! hehehe!:teehee

We are also high school sweethearts. We met through my best friend.

We actually met through his little-brother. I started watching his little brother everyday after work (I worked at the daycare where he went). DH moved in about a month after I started watching his brother and things went from there. I later found out he had a crush on me in high school.

We met 6 years ago in an AOL chat room. We lived 5 minutes apart, our grandfathers knew eachother & he spent every summer in the town I grew up in. Not sure why we didn't meet sooner... but atleast it happened :)

We met at a mutual friend's bachelor party.

My brother in law and DH where in A school together!! He brought him to TX one weekend and it all started from there, two months later we were married!!!

me and my so met at starbucks! of all places to meet a soldier! lol! well he was there to meet me actually. We had been talking on the phone for a day or so and we were in the same area, so i asked him to come meet me. as soon as i laid eyes on him, i knew he was the one. And he felt the same way...

this was in august of 2005...we were together for a few months while he was deployed to afghanistan, but i think he got a lot of crap for me still being in high school....and it was hard on both of us. I wanted to be with him and i had never felt like this for a guy before (what made it even more interesting was that he graduted from my High schools rival school! lol) We we spent a year apart, but always staying in touch because no matter how i tried he was always on my mind.

Then this past summer he called me...the first time i had spoken to him in almost a year! and everything came rushing back...and now we're together again and so in love :)

I met the love of my life at a Bar one night, we talked all night and danced and he bought not just me but my 4 friends that I was with drinks of whatever we wanted all night long! That poor boy had to have spent a couple hundred dollars atleast just on us! lol Now HERE is where our stories differ! lol There was a after party at a guy we knew's house after the bar closed.My friends and I decided to go to that too, and so Allen and his friends followed us there!!! I spent the entire time that I was at this party locked in a bathroom with one of my "friends" cause she was trippin out over here man, finally I was just like, "Fuck it comeon I'm takeing you home" So her and I left ( I didn't even know that Allen,Chris & Adam had even followed us up there till a few days later when one of my friends that stayed told me! HIS version of this story is that I got him to come to this party and then I just ditched it! Mine Is that I was being a good friend and trying to help save my friends marriage!:dunno
Nooowww fast forward6 months, I'm out at the same club with another "freind" ( keep in mind this is the very first time I have went out since that last time when I had met Allen! lol) So Callie (my "friend" ) and I had literaly JUST got to the Club and we were standing at the bar waiting to get a drink when I see this BEAUTIFUL bald head in the crowd! So I weaved thru and grabbed his arm and said "Hey How ya doin?!?" We stood there and bullshitted for a min, when the bartender finally brought us our drinks Allen insisted we let him pay for them! Then He and Chris asked Callie and I to go upstairs to the lounge area and sit and talk and chill, so we're all :dunno Sure! We talked all night, went to an after party at Chris's house and had a BLAST!!! Alas Allen paid for ALL Callie and I's drinks and some of Chris's as well, and he STILL didn't get none!!! lmao:rofl That next day was Super Bowl sunday and I was ALLL Pissed off cause I had to work, but Allen and I exchanged numbers and all.He called me at work around 11ish and asked me when I got to take lunch, and If he could take me out for it?! Boy was I shocked I thought it was some kind of Man Law that you had to wait atleast 3 days to call someone?!? lol So we went to lunch, talked ALOT on the phone went to dinner twice that week, and I got to meet the rest of his "Crew" that Sat! And we've been very happily together for almost 5 yrs now!!! lol

The Very best part of our story however is the fact that we had stood downstairs at the Club talking for about 30 min or so before we decided to go upstairs and sit down, Callie and I were walking side by side then Allen and Chris, Chris leans over and whispers in Allen's ear " Do you know who that is" (meaning me ) and Allen replies " Not a fucking clue, but DAMN she's got a nice ass!!! lol" YEAHHHH So this has been a running joke between us every since I found that one out, I didn't know about it for like the first 2 yrs, but he was FOREVER giveing me shit for "ditching" him at a party the first time we met, So now when he does it I just tell him, 'Oh Yeah...well atleast I knew who you were!!!" lol


Sooooo the moral to this story is....I met my Husband as God intended, DRUNK in a bar!!! lol Isn't that ganna be a great story for the grandkids someday! lmao:rofl

I met mine my freshmen year of highschool. He was always there for me while I was getting hurt by the guys I was dating. He actually met a girl and got engaged to her and I met a guy and got engaged to him. Well he wasn't even gone more than a week to basic and he found out that she cheated on him. Well then my ex left me for a 15 year old (Yeah I know disturbing). Well he found me on my ex's myspace and we started talking. He started calling me and everything. Well when he was here on his two week leave. We hung out and it was just love at first site... I mean yeah we had been friends for awhile, but we hadn't seen each other in a year and 1/2 and we both had matured.... So now he is in afganistan for 6 1/2 more months.. but thats how we met :O)
