Hi girls I have been married for a little over a year and my husband and I have been tryin toget pregnant for a while...and nothing is happening...i quit smoking and we have tried all the wives talkes...any advice?

I know how you feel, I started at the doctors to see if I was infertal and 2 weeks later I found out I was pregnant!! My husband and I had been trying over a year. Just pray and keep positive!! Best of luck!!

How long is awhile? They say that under 35 you should try for a full year before seeking help. And over 35 6 months.

I have infertility. (I have PCOS---polycystic ovarian syndrome which causes lack of ovulation) But I was successful in conceiving my son. It took me 9.5 years to get pregnant but I did and he's here!

Have you tried the ovulation predictor kits? Or temping to verify you are ovulating? If not I would try those. They helped determine when you are most fertile.

If it's been over a year I would make an appointment to be seen. They will check your husbands sperm count as well check you out etc

G'luck and just remember that even if his sperm meet your egg and all conditions are right, there is only a 25% chance in a given month that you will actually conceive. If you have any questions just let me know. One thing for me is that in the 9.5 years of me trying for a baby I learned almost everything I could get my hands on dealing with infertility.
