Lily really didn't get her last DTaP shot. Im just blowen away all these years have gone by (ok like 2 1/2) and it was never cought. Shes seen by least 4 different Dr.s that would have handled her immunazitions, been to the ER 3 times for stiches and she's been in daycare twice all since she SHOULD have had that shot. I feel awful for not knowing. I can't believe she's been unprotected all this time. When I finally got to speak with some one at the clinic we used to go to I asked how this could have happened and she said "well maybe when you brought her in that time we were out and didn't tell you or call you to let you know when we got more in." :inshock I know there is nothing I can do now but shoot if it happened to her how many other kids are running around unprotected when thier parents think they are.

Shes going in on friday to get the shot. I wish I could get her in sooner. I feel like such a bad mommy for not knowing. :sadeyes

Jaxon JUST go this last one also. He should have had it when he was 18 months old but they never gave it to him. So, he just got it at 3 1/2. Don't feel bad :hugs

*I* should have known though. I just assumed with YEARS of medical training something as simple as a shot shouldn't have gone unnoticed like that. By me, as her mommy, or by all Dr.s shes seen. Shes been at risk and we didn't even know. How awful is that.

But it does make me feel a bit better that Im not the only one that its happened to. Jaxon is fine and so is Lily I suppose its not the end of the world.
