ok so many of y'all that were following my situation may be excited/curious about the title of this thread but i have a question: how did you bring up ttc with your SO?

since harrison and i have been dealing with all this stuff lately and i've gotten suggestions from some friends ;) about bringing the topic up with harrison, esp since he's sad and disappointed that i'm not pg either. how did you bring the topic up?

with my son...it wasn't planned...but now that I want another...I told him there was something I wanted to ask him...and then I just said it...he's not ready yet and that's okay even though my baby fever is BAD. I just straight up told him I was ready.

TTCing was all my hubby's idea.. We both knew we wanted to wait several years, and we'd been married 2 1/2 years when he brought it up.. just before he left on deployment, Sept. 2002... We tried from Dec.2002, till Dec. 2003, and I got pregnant on my birthday.. Dec. 6, 2003. So it can take a while.. I'd been on BC pills for a year and a half before we started TTCing, but went off as soon as DH left on deployment. So I was off BC pills for about 14-15 months before I got pregnant.

all you have to say is... the disappointment of us not being pg has gotten me into thinking more heavily about trying for a baby... obviously we're disappointed with me not being pregnant... how about we try? :)

I just straight up told him. He's known for a long time. I got the fever about a year after we started dating. hehe Good luck!

We both talked about wanting Reagan, but now Im ready for a 2nd and hes not. I just tell him that Im ready for another and when hes ready he needs to let me know

hey i have a feeling we are going to talk tomorrow about it since he doesn't have to go to work til 4pm tomorrow instead of 1230 in the afternoon :D

You could just tell him that you don't want to be "careful" and let nature take it's course.
I wanted to start ttc this December, but my dh wanted to start 2 months ago, so we are ttc also! :)
