I let my husband take the van to work when I got home and left my work bag in the back...WITH MY TUMS IN IT!! and I am now dying with HB....any home remedies that will carry me untill he gets off work in 3plus hours?
oh, I cant get the kids up and into his HUGE Ford F-250 Diesel to go to the store for TUMS....or I would be gone already!

I think milk is supposed to help :yes I had it BAD when I was preggo with Hunter. I actually had it pretty bad all three times but the worst was with him. I just kept my tumms handy and ate them pretty much every day :giggle I do think I've heard that milk will help. Milk was the only thing that didn't give me heartburn. Even water gave it to me! :nutts

The info I found on the website I posted said that club soda will take care of it almost instantly.

If you need any milk, go ask a neighbor!! Milk always helped me because tums would wear off too fast!

I'm glad you found a relief, but if you run into that problem in the future, a little bit of baking soda in a little bit of water. My mom has lots of issues with her stomach and this always helps really quickly. Though I'm sure the cookies tasted much better then I imagine this does! Haha:lol
