8 weeks??? why do you think that you will be holding your babies in 8 weeks? 28 weeks is VERY early. My niece was born about 10 weeks early and she was TINY and could not even be held for over a week because she was only 2.5 lbs and 14 inches long.......twins would be even more tiny. I hope for your babies' sake, you get the rest that you need, and can keep them safely inside you until at LEAST 32 - 34 weeks. :hugs

They could very well be born in 8 weeks and the doctors have told me that .. However .. anytime between 32 and 36 weeks can be full term for twins .. yes they'll be small and yes they could possibly spend time in the hospital and even though it's terrifying to me that they could be born that eary, it's also reality for me and reality for the situation. I'm hoping and praying that we don't have that problem though :)

Bare belly shots ..? NO way Jose :refuse I am not showing my stretched out belly .. I have stretch marks that were there before I got pregnant and I don't think you guys would like to see those .. :neener

Stretch marks are part of being preggo even if they were there before. Trust and believe I have stretch marks too from before my first and from her too. You are not alone in the stretch mark club. I was just making a suggestion maybe before the babies are born we'll get to see your bare belly :)

Thanks ladies!

My doctors have me watching my weight for obvious reasons so my weight gain has been minimal so far :)

Well if you think that the babies will be born at 28 weeks I would seriously be taking it easy if I were you. No way would I be traveling or anything.

My daughter was born at 29ish weeks.. she was 3 lbs 3 ozs... She went down to 2 lbs 7 ozs.

They will spend time in the hospital if born that early. ESPECIALLY with twins!

I okayed this trip with my doctor before I came and I have been told since day one of being pregnant with these babies that if I started going into labor anytime after 28 weeks that if everything was okay with them the chances of them attempting to stop labor is low .. but thanks :wink

What kind of risk would there be if they tried to stop the labor??
