I've just watched this program and I really hope they do something similar over the water because it was so interesting! They took a group of people who claimed to be 100% English, interviewed them about their view of what they class as being English, and then performed a DNA test to find out their heritage. The results were really surprising!

That sounds intresting! I wish they would do that here! I would watch it!

i saw a show on discovery channel, that did something similar. it's pretty bad when the hardcore KKK guy found out that he did indeed have african and asian blood in him!!! :lmao

No! There was one person who was mostly Northern European, but that was as close as it got. The most shocking aspect of the show was listening to the views of the people being interviewed. A few were all for ethnic cleansing! :shock It's scary that there are still people like that in the world. There was one woman who claimed to be 'a pedigree' and said that immigrants (meaning people who didn't have blue eyes and flaxen hair) shouldn't have as many rights. It turned out that her ancestors were from the Middle East! :lol

It's amazing and often disturbing how people think about other races and ethnicities.....nobody is just one race.....if such a person exists, I would love to find out who they are and how they're family stayed that way.
