DH wants an Xbox 360 and a PS3, but I think he wants the 360 more since his Xbox doesn't always wanna work and he only plays on the Xbox. I told him he might get one with our tax refund.

Well after managing a gamestop they ALL have something different to offer. Will I pay 500 for a PS3? No. I also think that the price tag will cut down on "some" sales. I know that when I worked the PS2 launch the price tag then detered some. Not alot. But some...

What will be the biggest? All in my opinion. Simply because from working in the industry I have seen MANY gamers who HAVE to have EVERY system. Heck we had them all at 1 point too. And then you have your younger generation that are better off with Nintendo which have more kid based games and the like, the older generation for the PS3 and the Xbox, etc

From what I heard tehy witheld the ps3 back when the 360 came out so they could make it better so it wouldn't compete with micrsoft.... If ya got the extra cash to spend you might as well get hte ps3. However, most people will like either sony or microsoft so its a hard call!

I dont do video games so I have no clue. Dh would probably want both. Since he's going on west pac soon he gets neither lol

We already have a 360. Personally I think that $500-600 bucks for a game console is too much, so what if it has blue tooth. That is just going to make the games more expensive as well.

I'm not a huge fan of the Sony Playstation anyhow, I think Microsoft tends to get better platformers and put more quality into the games instead of mass quantity. I'm sure that the PS3 will be a good system but we probably won't be getting one, definitely not right away.

I also think that consoles are just doing too much. I want it to play games and give me the online game capability. I don't need it to do everything my computer does!

:hehe Blue ray is another type of DVD, it stores more than a typical DVD does. It is also read with a blue laser instead of a red laser (which is what is in your DVD player).

Well, since Aaron has been deployed, I can honestly say, the 360 and I have spent some quality time together. I have no hand-eye coordination, but there is this one arcade game on it that I can semi play. Aaron did do his research before buying the 360, as he does with all of his purchases, and it seemed to have to best reviews.

I want a Nintendo Wii...I like that you are actually active while playing some games...at least that's what I get from the pictures :giggle

if i played video games i would prolly choose the PS3 bc i like the games that are out for the ps2 but i would not pay $500 for one and df wants all of them :nerd mostly he wants the Wii.

No way in hell will I pay 500-600 bucks fro a stupid game system. My hubby has a perfectly fine working ps2 the skinny one. If he wants the PS3 he can sell his left nut for it b/c I'm not buying.

I chose the PS3 because I think it will be a winner.

We have a 360 and that is plenty. No way are we rushing out to get the PS3 too, I don't care how good anyone says it is. Microsoft came out with a high def dvd player that hooks up to the console to be comparable to the BlueRay... so I'm good. Those things are way too much money! I'm buying him Gears of War this week and the $60 tag on that makes me choke!

The PS3 is 599.99 bucks! :oogle I couldnt believe how much it was. I thought about buying one for Chris, but HELL no that shits too expensive. I'll wait till it goes down.
