republican. they have the right idea on government. i think there needs to be a bit more regulation i.e. on tuition, immigration, etc etc. i am also a firm believer in we'll help you help yourself.

too many people choose to live off welfare permanently (SP?) there needs to be lots of regulation there. but that's a completely different debate

Republican, but in all honesty, I really dont care. Politics are just NOT my thing. Its a touchy subject and someone someplace always manages to offend the other person.

Republican, because the republican platform more closely represents my feelings/beliefs than any of the other platforms.

Of course when it comes to voting, I won't vote for the republican just because he's/she's the republican, I vote for whomever I believe is most qualified to do the best job.

I took a political platform quiz thing on CNN.com and there were some things that I swung FAR left on, and some issues that I was FAR right...so maybe it depends on the issue :dunno

Independent. Why... Hrm, because I like having options and I don't agree always with Republicans or Democrats. My mom likes to say I'm conservative on the liberal side.

I lean more Republican than Democrat mostly due to religious beliefs. I don't agree with everything Republican though & won't vote for someone just because they are the Republican candidate. I personally wish we didn't have a party system but dealt strictly with the individuals as people and what they believe. Utlimately I feel politicians are not really out for the general public's best interest unless it is beneficial to themselves.

I'm a registered Democrat mainly so I can vote in the Primaries. My personal affiliation is Independent. I vote for the candidate whom I feel will be the best representative, regardless of their political party. Though in general, I tend to lean towards the left/liberal side of the spectrum.

I dont really care about being democrat or republican because I dont think one party is right and one is wrong...I would call myself a conservative liberal though...

It really depends on what day of the week you ask me. When it comes down to it, it seems that no one can ever stick to their words about the issues that really matter, making it hard to pick sides and stay loyal. I really think you have to view each candidate and what they stand for. So, I guess that makes me a 'in-betweenie.'

Democrat, I have a few liberal views. I am a Dem because the majority of their views, I agree with.

As someone else said though, I vote for the person, not the party.

I'm Independent. I vote for the person who's ideas I agree with the most. Sometimes those are Democrats, sometimes those are Republicans. I tend to be more liberal on a lot of issues though. But for the most part I'm a moderate.

The party that I'm registered for is not the party I generally support. It's different because in NH you can only vote in the primaries for the party you're registered for - and so I'm registered for the party that always has the most compelling primaries.
