So im wondering how the weekend leaves work for A-School... he'll be there soon for MA. DB is wanting to come to prom but would have to take a weekend leave from Texas to Georgia... how would that work or would it? thanks ladies!!!:D

My DF took a 50 mile chit for the weekend to come home for my younger sister's hs graduation... he left early on friday and flew back early on Sunday... he had to make sure it was okay with the command first, so it all depends on them, he has to be in Phase 3 too I think

my hubby is in a school now (grads feb 3 yay) and he got two weeks of leave for christmas...however, each command is different.. after certain (how it is in GL) phases they are allowed so much more liberty.. right now in phase 3, my hubby leaves school on friday and doesnt even have to be on base until school on Monday...as far as them leaving the area, i dont know .. thats something he will have to ask when he gets there

Liberty gives you time off
LEAVE gives you time off that is deducted and you can leave the state
Liberty you can only go so many miles away from the base

Either he can ask for leave or to get an out of bounds liberty chit, but it will depend on his A school..so its all up to them, my dh said MA A school is pretty strick about that if they just got there.

yeah thats not going to be good cuz he ships to Aschool on the 12th of feb. and my prom is on the 11th of march!!.... only like 4 weeks difference!!

umm... good ? im not sure i know he took the test but i never heard how he did... i know thats bad but what did you find out??!! ... he's cxalling home on friday around 3 or 4 so i'll post that or send you a pm then!!!

Dh said that his chances are slim. But he said he could still ask but probably won't happen. My dh was an E5 when he went through MA A school and he didn't get leave, granted he didn't ask for it but he said no one did except for an emergency

thats cool... im fine with it.. its just junior prom and i'll get to see him in texas that weekend... all i want to do is see my man again!! thanks soo much tho!! but just for fun i think i'll go dress shopping with the mother for fun!! thanks ladies!! HE CALLS ON FRIDAY!!!
