to make me smile even when he's 2000 miles away. All it takes is a phone call to make me happy and he's so good at it!! He's been out to sea for a month and we haven't been able to talk much on the phone since I got back from Hawaii and today we spent an hour on the phone while his ship is in port in San Diego!! I dunno how he does it, no presents, no surprises, he just says a few things and I feel on top of the world!! He truly makes me happy by just saying I love you and being able to hear his voice!!! I'm so happy right now!!! (L)

That's awesome. Phone calls are one of the reasons I wish DH was on a surface ship.

I loved those phone calls when df was on cruise. He would always get the time screwed up and call in the middle of the night! But it is still one of the greatest things ever. It's amazing how just a few words can be better then any present!
