It looks like it's going to be great! I'm thrilled it's live action... DD has the original on DVD..

I saw a preview for it at the movies the other night and it looks like it is going to be so great!

Opera was all about it today. It looks really good. They said it took 41 days to film one of the scenes. The intire film took over 3 years to complete. When the seasons changed and they still needed leaves on the trees they had 1000's of silk ones put on the bare branches. They used about 50 different baby pigs because after a few weeks the one they had would be to big. They made 12 different versions of Charlette before one was finally decided on one. at one point the corn field froze over night and fell down so they had to film different angles and try not to get the dead corn field in the shots. When Dakota Fanning arived on her first day of filming the farm was completly flooded.

I also learned some neat things about Dakota Fanning. Shes done 7 major films. She learnd to read by age 2. She was in first grade by age 4. Shoot there was some other really amazing things. Hmmm sorry I've forgotten them.

It was one of my favorite books as a kid! I can't wait to see it :)
