there are reports out there that excess soy or soy on a regular basis can screw with your fertility so....i'll avoid it if i can.

I put sometimes because hubby and DD both use it because they're both lactose intolerant. If I make something that is milk-heavy, I use unflavored soy milk, and mess with the seasonings to account for the taste. I don't do it very often because it can be a pain in the ass.

I said no. I do like the health benifits of soy, but I read a couple years back that the soy milk being sold in the states is so chemically treated that it takes the goodness right out of soy. I do, however, drink rice milk.

I don't buy it fom myself. I buy if for Ethan. He likes it a lot. At the commissary, there was a lady handing out samples a few weeks ago. That was the 1st time I tried it for myself! LOL!!! It wasn't THAT bad, but I still haven't built up enough courage to add it to my bowl of cereal.....hehe!!!!

Also, I buy the 8th Continent in Vanilla and Original. For the 1 qt. "to-go" containers, I just buy whatever the least expensive brand is. :) When I was visiting my parents, I usually bought the Von's/Safeway brand.

I drink it at times. Before I got pregnant with Nikolai that is all I drank for milk because I am lactose intolerant. I used to get pretty sick if I drank normal milk but after I got pregnant with Nikolai I craved it and after awhile my body was fine with it. Zach and Robert will drink it at times but they both have problems with milk as well.

Oh and when we buy it we buy the Silk vanilla.

My OBGYN told me the same thing! I drank soy for a while when I first found out that I was lactose intolerant... now I take a daily supplement and just deal with it.. I can't live without dairy!:D

I tried when Lily was on it and its not bad. I prefer reg. milk though
