I think I remember someone talking about these a while back. Does anyone have one and do you like it? I'm really considering getting one because Hunter is super colicky and has to be held pretty much 24/7 which makes it nearly impossible to do ANYTHING around the house. Having him in the sling would also free up my hands for things like grocery shopping and what not.

BUT... I've tried the baby carriers like the snugli's and I hated them b/c they were just awkward. So, I'd hate to waste the money on one of these slings if it is going to be weird, not fit, etc. But I've heard great things about them, so I'm torn.

Looking for some opinions :D

Also, what size did you get? I am thinking I'd probably be about a size 4 :dunno

I have a Maya wrap sling but Nathan has never liked it. It kind of covers up his head and he hates having his head covered up! He loves to be in his baby bjorn facing out so he can watch everything.
I wish I would've bought a hotsling. .they seem stretchier so he may have liked that better.
Sorry Hunter is so colicky.. I hope it gets better soon :goodvibes

Brandi, I just remembered I still have mine! It's black & a size 4. You want it? I've never used it, so it's still has that starchy feeling b/c it hasn't been washed. I had tried to sell it before (i even put it on here).

If you want to buy it, we'll just say a flat $25 and that will include the shipping.

I have 2 of them and I liked them because Wyatt LOVED being in it.. BUT it hurt my back a lot after a while.. I think my boobs had someting to do with it :( I have a size 3 and a size 4. You are more than welcome to them. They are collecting dust. Wyatt weighs 21 lbs now so I don't even carry him on me anymore, hurts my back too much with any carrier lol.

ETA: I think we're fairly close in size (I'm pretty sure I'm actually quite a bit bigger than you weight wise) The size 3 seamed a tiny bit small because of my boobs (D) but the 4 seams a bit too big even now with Wyatt at alost 10 months and 21 lbs it seams a bit big. I think what size is better has a lot to do with what carrying position you're using. I know a lot of people have multiple sizes for that reason.

I dont have a hotsling itself but I WILL be using a sling or at least trying to with this baby. I HATED the snugli with E and he did too. I like the sling because it looks more comfy for both and it frees your hands up etc.

G'luck!!

My hotsling was very very awkward, but I love my mayawrap. I make them myself so I have a bunch that I used with Katrina...Brandi if you want I can make one and send it your way.

Scarlett do you plan to nurse? I have heard Moby Wraps aren't good if you do intend to nurse in them. FYI.

yes and I nursed both my boys but never in a sling. No sling works for me when it comes to nursing. My breasts are a 38 J so its never been possible. Honestly I will prob just end up reusing my pea in a pod sling from mom and me creations.

Rach and Marla, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the offers! I talked to Caimbrie and she's going to hook me up with hers. But I just wanted to thank you for your offers (L)

I'm hoping little man will like them. He isn't picky about how I hold him as long as I'm holding him close to my body. He likes being pressed up against me and held tightly, so I am thinking and hoping he will really like the sling. I never used a sling with my other two because they were so wiggly and didn't really like being held tightly against me like Hunter does. It seems like the only time he isn't crying is when I'm holding him against me like that. So, this will definitely come in VERY handy if he does end up liking it. It will be a lot easier than trying to juggle his little body while I'm trying to do other things.

And Sarah, thank you so much for offering yours to me. I really really appreciate it a lot.
