When the SO was home for his R&R, he let kitty out.. That was 2 weeks ago on saturday. I haven't seen kitty since..
I got kitty for lil' Jack the day before his 4th birthday. I was too short on cash to buy lil' J a gift, so I got him a kitten.. The day of his birthday, my house was robbed. LJ and I drove into town to pick up his Yoda cake, and when I came home, I surprised a burglar who went running out the back door...
I was so terrified after all that happened. I called the police, then I called my pastor. Pastor said, "Well, I will send someone over to your house to look at your doors and windows and make sure you are safe."
He called my future husband, and sent him over.
We had been making eyes at eash other for a while at church, I would look over at him during the service, and "catch" him looking at me. He would look away real quick! We played these games for a couple months. Both of us were too shy to actually start up the conversation.
So Pastor did it for us.
I heard a knock on my door, and it was my knight in shining shyness.. He was kicking the step, too shy to look me in the eye, "uh, Pastor said that someone broke into your house..uhh...uhh...he said you needed some help...uhh ummm, is everything okay?"
I told him that I couldn't find Jack's birthday present, and asked him if he would help me look for Kitty..
We searched the house, and continued our search outside. We walked through my woods, calling for Kitty, but Kitty wasn't there. I started to get discouraged, then he held my hand while we walked...
Kitty came out of the boxspring that night, but I will always remember that day when him and I looked for Kitty... Now I wish they would both come home..

Kitty is part Siamese... I think he is gone and not coming back. It's been below zero all week, I think he may have froze to death outside.. I've had Kitty as long as I've had the SO..:sadeyes :sadeyes
