And how soon do you show signs?? I know some show signs early and some none at all... I didn't have any signs except dizzy spells...
Which I was sick all day with yesterday... some better today. Anyhoo I am sure that was just a virus :sick But got me curious. I never have good thoughts about being preggers cause I just see it taking tons longer like with Jerron, but I guess you never know...

5 days before your period is the earliest. And thats with the early tests. And even then only 60% will get a +

I usually tested around 12 days post ovulation. And I always got a true result. (+) So I wouldnt test until around 3 days before your period is due and if its negative try again if your period is late.

I think its still too early... and yall know my periods are never true 28 days... Usually 31-33 but I apparently ovualted around day 13 so thats wierd to me too... Uggg Im not due for my period till near Christmas sooo I guess it wait wait wait for me! :mumble :P

I was always told to test on the day you're expected to get your period (if it doesn't show up) or any day after that, because even sometimes 5 days early is too early....most people won't get a postive result that early.

I tested the day I should have gotten my period (when I was preggo with Brayden). I was sick as a dog the day before... that was my only symptom before I tested. I just had a feeling.

:yes Put down the test strips and STOP peeing. It isnt over until you get your period and truthfully you are too soon to be testing anyhow. Only a few tests detect the hormone up to FIVE days early and if you read the fine print only 60% of women will get a + result 5 days early, like 68% 4 days early, 70 something% 3 days early and so on.

Also I never once threw up with either pregnancy. I got a little nauseated but thats it. You do not HAVE to have morning sickness. And my symsptoms didnt even show up this time until I was around 4 days from starting my period....

Having irregular periods and trouble TTCing last pregnancy caused so much stress and hurt. Its just if your not trying you are "hit and miss" for God knows how long... I know its not the best of times for a baby... no we are millionares or even well off but I know we would love it and care for its every need and probably too many wants. Anyhoo... I miss Jerron and I still am not over the kitty and this... too much hormone craziness....
Im glad the extra test got peed on yesterday so there is no more temptation... I think thats why I did it... to get it out the house. lol
Josh really wants a baby too and wants to try but I don't know... I told him maybe I should go on BC again and he was like HELL NO! Then told me I could lie to everyone but myself and he could read me like a book and knows I really want a baby and stop telling myself Im broke (my favorite line lol)
Anyhoo.. Im just a ball of hormones today and I still feel icky with this crud floating around here getting everyone sick. So, I know thats why I don't feel good and Im a woman and thats why Im so emotional :P

It will happen Cori. I think stress can hinder progress though. I know when I was trying to get pregnant with Morissa, it took over year...about the time that we had decided that we would stop 'trying' is when I actually got pregnant. Relax, and have fun with it.

Dont give up hope. especially only after a few months. I am irrgeular too from the pcos. And obviously I had infertility problems and took meds for it but my son is here and I have a girl baking whom I used no medication for. Granted it took 9.5 years for me to get preggers with E but they didnt know theproblem and the first time I was on the right med combo got me preggers with him

If you have to see a Dr then do so. I was prescribed metformin for my pcos and that helped regulate my periods. I used clomid plus met to conceive E. This baby I was just on met. It regulated my cycle and gave me a monthly period and helped me to ovulate apprently too.

I wouldnt give up tho. Maybe just stay off BC and dont try for awhile and when you are ready to dive in and TTC go see a Dr first and get some info

don't stress. some people ttc for years... it'll happen when it's meant to happen :)

It took about 18 mths with Jerron but Paul was deployed within that time too... Atleast Josh is a civi now home everynight... I can be thankful for that blessing. :)

I was a preggo test addict too!!! I actually ordered a whole bunch of test strips on eBay....LMAO!!!!

It's much cheaper to buy the pregnancy test strips online than it is in the store. You can get them really cheap at a bunch of websites. They aren't as fancy as the ones from the store but they work!

well I found out with ds2 at 6dpo, and this one at 6dpo as well. A blood test at the hospital didnt pick this one up, but a FRPT did.

Don't give up hope Cori! One of my friends got a positive test at 7 DPO, and another didn't get a positive pee test until 9 weeks! She only got a positive blood test 5 days after her period was due too. She also had a lot of fertility problems and did not have regular cycles. Good luck hon!

If AF wants to work on a 28 day cycle (laughable but has happened) I should get her Friday... :sick Past couple months were between 31-33 days :mumble

I don't feel it this month... I just got kinda pshyced cause I was soo blah feeling for the past week... light headed etc like when I was preggo before. But I think it was just a virus. And as much as I want a baby and DH and I talk about it.. When we hit the bedroom all bets are off... I never even think about it... too busy enjoying myself and having fun! Which I think is GREAT! If it becomes a "chore" or just a ritual to have a baby then you will put your marriage in danger and thats even more heartache... So, while yes we are actively trying to get preggo we leave our thoughts about it at the bedroom door and just enjoy ourselves! :yes :D :cp :giggle

Not always. Unfortuantly when dealing with infertility you HAVE to do it that way sometimes and my marriage is fine ;)

Oh yea I am the same way Kris... I mean yes we do TTC with ovulation test etc but it is funny. When I seen the positive ovulation test I drug DH in the bedroom and it was hilarious, but what I was saying is during the "act" of making love we leave all thoughts aside and concentrate on enjoying the moment :wink

But when on medication it kinda deters some things. when you are told to do it in this position, then elevate hips after etc. It has to become more of a chore. Especially for those who have to do IUI's or IVF etc. Thats all I am saying :wink Sometimes it just happens that way. Especially with fertility medication involved

GL! You can actually get tests at the dollar store. They are the same kind they use in the doctor's office. I won't be testing until after the New Year, it seems so long away!
