When I had my bloodwork done to confirm my pregnancy so I could get a referral off base they Doc said my HCG level was twice what is normal and I should have my blood taken again. So I did and still twice. so he is saying it's probable I am having twins.

Either I am in denial but I really don't think I am having twins. Anyone else have a high HCG level and just one babe?

I had this when I was pregnant with Elizabeth, doc said that was why I was sooooo sick, too much HCG.

I have twins and my HCG was high too but i was also really sick the whole freaking time!!!

I never knew what my HCG levels were when preggo with Ethan. But good luck to you if you are indeed having twins!!!

My HCG levels we're always pretty low. In the beginning it was at the point where they weren't sure if I was pregnant or not. But if it is twins, thats awesome. Keep us posted!

Mine where very high with my twins.. I had an u/s at 5 weeks to confirm it. My levels were just so high they wanted to ck. and sure enough! ;) but when I was pregnant with my next baby my levels were a little high again and they did an u/s also at 5 weeks and she was a singleton. so I guess it can really go either way. good luck.. I hope you get the outcome you want :)

They should do an ultra sound to be sure. i've never had it happen to me but I worked for a lady that had really really high levels and they thought she may have been preggo with triplets. Turned out to only be twins and at about 10 weeks she lost one of them.

mine were high with Savannah and Gabe.... Savannah was a twin. I lost her twin at around 4 months along. Gabe was on his own and i just had really high HCG levels.
