On Friday, Ethan started coming down with something. He wasn't that bad. It was pretty much off and on until Monday. Monday he was supposed to have his 15 month well-baby check up. Since he was still sick, the doc just prescribed Dimeatapp and Motrin and we had to reschedule his well-baby check up for a week later.
Well on Tuesday, Ethan was beginning to start acting lethargic and VERY clingy. He had been acting clingy since Monday. Well today was the last straw for us. He wouldn't eat a darn thing but his breakfast of oatmeal and Mandarin oranges and didn't drink a darn thing but 3 sips of V8 Splash. When Bryan gave him his bath he was acting EXTREMELY lethargic and pratically fell asleep in the bathtub in Bryan's hands. It was soooooo awful to see Ethan this way. Our cat Penney was even acting strange and wouldn't leave Ethan's side. We knew in our hearts something was definitely wrong with our normally rambunctious lil guy. He had been feeling warm all day long. I'd been giving him Motrin and Tylenol(switching it up) along with Dimetapp since Monday. Since the Dimeatapp wasn't helping his cough we knew something was up with that too.
When we got to the ER, Ethan's temp was 103.7 in triage. We got chest X-rays done and sure enough...Ethan has a mild form of bacterial pneumonia and mild dehydration. We were given Azithromycin to combat his pnemonia along with Mortin and more Tylenol. We now have a lifetime supply of Tylenol and Motrin...LOL!!!
We've gotta go to Makalapa tomorrow for a check-up. I just want my comical son back to normal!!!!! UGH!!!
