Well, this week's appt was definitely not what I was hoping for...

I'm only up to 2 cm dilated and she said, "his head could definitely be lower at this point than where it is right now." The good news is that I have only gained a total of 11 lbs....and that's enough! :lol

My next appt is next Friday -- 2 days before my due date :shock I guess we shall see what happens....

Oh, and since I have never posted a belly pic before, I figured since I'm almost done with my pregnancy I might as well give in and post 1 or 2 :giggle . So look for those probably tomorrow. :)

Don't fret sweetie.....I was 38 weeks and 1 day pregnant when my water broke, and my appointment had been the previous Friday, and they told me I hadn't dialated or effaced.

I'm hoping my water actually breaks on its own this time, it's really not fun having it done for you...

I know this may sound a lil TMI, but at your next appt. you could ask your doc to scrape your membranes. When I was pregnant, I went to my 39 week appt. and my midwife checked me and I was at 2cm and after she scraped my membranes I was at 3 1/2. About 12 hours later I delivered Austin.

Hmph...at my 38 week appointment, he hadn't dropped into my pelvis and I was still thick and closed. Oh and the ultrasound they did estimated him at 8.9 lbs...so I have no sympathy :imwaiting
