NikkiD 12-21-2006, 01:14 PM We haven't moved in 5 years and won't for another 2. DH spent 4 years at sea and will spend 3 years on shore. We didn't have to move because he got stationed for shore at a nearby base. We probably won't move when he goes back to sea duty because he will try for a ship in the area. After that he will be willing to accept orders somewhere else. Of course it isn't always guaranteed he will be able to get a ship in the area and we will have to move in 2 years from now. *Crystal* 12-21-2006, 01:16 PM It depends on his rate and if hes on shore duty or sea duty!! So I am guessing that we might be stuck in NM for the next 4 years. lisa0323 12-22-2006, 11:16 AM My dh is in the Navy and he has been stationed here in Norfolk/Va Beach since 97. He's currently on a ship so we'll be here at NOB until at least 2009. I wouldn't mind moving someplace else though.
