ok so i did not get a engagement ring --- even though he was dropping hints all the time, but he did surprize me this christmas with a beautiful promise ring... i dont mind... i still go a ring!!!!!!:yahoo it is sooooooo beautiful...its yellow gold band with an emerald heart with two small diamonds.... i will post a picture of it up for you gals....
it is so wonderful to have him home for two wks.... it will be sad :tears when he leaves on jan 3rd:sadeyes

That's awesome. I wore a promise ring for 3 months before we got engaged...and I still wear it on my right hand. I loved that commitment!

Congratulations! I also had a promise ring, we decided to get married only about 3-4 months after I got it. I still wear it on my right hand now that my let one is taken up with engagement/wedding rings!

aww i wanted a promise ring from my bf so i wont get hit on (lol) but its ok he gave me his class ring that he got when he graduated from basic training and it was a big shocker cuz i know how much that ring means to him so i told him i wont ever lose it and i wear it around my neck and kiss it for good luck ^_^
