Have any of you tried Proactiv?
I have been using it for almost a month now, and my face is kinda cleared up, but i still have some pimples. I mean my face wasnt really that bad before. So im kinda disappointed. :(
All of the commertials say that the peoples faces cleared up in a matter of weeks and some even days! :inshock Did that happen with any of you?
My mom did tell me right after i started using it that she has heard from some people that it works for a couple weeks, then it doesnt anymore.
Oh well, think they have the money back guarentee where you can get your money back even if you send back empy bottles. So if it doesnt start to look better then ill just do that.
well anyway tell me what you guys thought. cause maybe its just me.

I tired it 2 different times. Each time for 2 months and it never worked for me. I do know it worked for some but just not for me...

well, my sister has really bad acne.. and it didnt work for her..
i use it to.. but i dont have bad skin... it does make my face more even toned and softer.. also i dont get those breakouts during my period anymore.. so i guess it works for me.

It worked for me for about 8 months or so and then it's almost like I had a reaction and broke out from it! The same thing happened to my mom. I loved it when it worked though!

Just keep trying it and see what happens but if you do not see a difference in about 2 months then I wouldn't waste my money anymore. That's JMO though.

i tried it when i was in high school, my face wasn't bad or anything though, and it didn't work for me either.

When I tried it, it just made my skin really dry but didn't help clear anything up.

It worked for my sister. That was YEARS ago though. Atleast 8 yrs ago. Maybe they have changed the formula in the past few years?

It works for me, but I do still get the occasional break out. I thought that it would prevent ALL acne, but it didn't. I guess I just had to learn to deal with it, but if it is barely working, and you don't have bad acne to start with, I would definitely get my money back. Maybe finish off the bottles and see if anything progresses? I do know that my skin had to get "used" to it after I start back up on it.. so maybe your skin needs to adjust to it too?

I tried it for about 2 months, and it worked for, like, the first three weeks, so I ordered a replacement kit, and it stopped working...It was a waste of money!!!

I love it. It works great for me. If you don't have oily skin, then it's probably not going to work that well for you.

It dissolved my skin. Like totally dissolved my skin. My skin just peeled away to the base and I had these big red imflamed pores, it was horrible. However, my sister has been using it for years and loves it.

Ok so i have kept up using proactive after my questions on the 28th, and my face has gotten A LOT better! Im so glad i kept it. My face is a little dry around my eyebrows and mouth, but the moisturizer totally helps that. im so excited! I can finally leave the house with out make up and not feel like i look like crap! Before my face was always red, and now its not. :) I actually look good in pics with out make up! lol . I just thought i would share with you guys since i started this thread. Thanks for all your advice! :)

Proactiv is really bad for your skin!! I used it for a few months and it helped with adult acne, but once I found out what the long term damage is from it, I stopped!! You have to be very careful using any other skin care systems while using Proactiv too!! It is so harsh, the damage comes 10 years after the fact!!

It worked for me. I dont use it anymore though... I have moved on, I dont need anything that extreme now.

i tried it in High School & after 2 weeks, I started seeing a difference, & it worked for me, I love it. The only thing i didnt like, is that it gave me dry skin...& its kinda expensive, but I think I'm gonna be getting it again sometime soon, b/c I love that stuff.
