This is absolutely my favorite book....it's great whether you are an animal lover or not. I love dogs but the story is just wonderful. The stories about Marley's escapades as a puppy are hilarious...made my dog seem like an angel!

I loved this book too! It was so good and so emotional for me to read. My dog's name is Marley, it hit home a few times!

This was a fantastic book. I had to put it down for a week or so, because I knew what was coming and didn't want to finish it :( But I really did relate to much of it, there were so many parallels in the book with the dog I had growing up :lol Some dogs you just can't help but love.

:thumbsup Excellent book

Ok, I'm super late on this, but I wanted to add for those who loved the book like I did, that the auther has come out with a young readers' version. For parents who liked the book, I think the young readers' version would be an awesome tool for reading with your kids.

Also, Amazing Gracie is a very similar book, put out before this one, that is just as funny and endearing, and with a little more emphasis on the human lessons learned during the process. It's about a Great Dane.

I loved Marley and Me so much, especially since I have lab mixes right now. Truth be told, I never actually finished it, because I knew what was coming, and didn't want to put myself through that (my Gramps had just passed away, and he had a black lab too, who was very depressed with him not around, so I just couldn't do it.)
