ok How long does it take to get the first enstallment of the SRB after reenlistment? my DH is reenlisting on Feb. 9th and he says that we should have it by the 15th...yeah uh no. I dont think so....lol do any of you know?:confused

Depends on the unit...it took my Dh anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months.

I would say the first or even the 15th of march. Dh got capped this cycle and it took a month and he wad capped the first week of dec. Good luck.

Walter's took 2 pay days... he reupped on the 24th of Nov and it was in with Dec 15th's pay.

We got it 2 days later.

He reenlisted on the 10th of May and May 12th we had it. I think it just depends.

Ours took 3 weeks to get.

My dh re-enlisted Feb 10 2006 and we had the $ on March 1...and every installment on Oct 1 or Oct 15 not sure which day...

DH got the first payment a few days after he reenlisted.

Trev reenlisted on the 21st I think it was...perhaps the 20th, and we haven't gotten it yet. I hope we get it by the 15th of Jan b/c we need to make our first car payment!!!
