When you were potty training, what did you do when you went out, like shopping or dinner? DD won't go in the potty with out a potty seat(the kind that you set on the big potty), I don't want to bring a seat everywhere we go, but i suppose i could whip out a big diaper bag and start using that. What did you do for you little one when you went out?

He is okay with sitting on the regular potty, so we've never really had issues with that. Maybe try switching up some at home and making her sit on the regular potty seat sometimes? That way she'll be used to it when you go out.
They actually do have portable ones that fold though, if you're interested in that.

oh wow, i didn't know they had folding ones. I'll have to get one of those. She can't really balance on the big potty with out the seat, she tells me "don't like it" I'll try out the folding seats until she gets a little bit bigger to balance on the seat. Thanks :)

Jaxon is the size of a 4 year old, so maybe thats why we really haven't had any issues with him. Plus, if he's just peeing, he's a boy so he can stand up :P
I've seen the folding seats at babiesrus, so if you wanna see them in person and live close by one, just go in and check it out. They look really cool though :)

Mara's always just sat on the big potty. Sorry I can't be any help.
