I took a blood test on monday becuase what I thought was AF starting on sunday night has now been on and off light brown/red blood it comes and goes thru out the day very very light and I'm on cycle day 27. since sunday night it stops and goes like I said well I thought to myself maybe this is implantation bleeding I have no other signs of AF no bloating, cramps or anything but my BLOOD TEST was negative on monday I would be 3 weeks and 5 days would that be too early for a blood test or is AF being really weird this month with this spotting I don't know what to think?

If it was an hCG test they should have been able to pick up something. Even at three weeks.

Dont get to worked up over it. Just try to chill and wait a little bit. Easier said than done, I know. I did this for over 9 years now.
Good luck :goodvibes

Here are some hCG levels to look at... Im sure you have done the research as well.
3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
Postmenopausal: <9.5 mIU/ml

I hope that helps. Maybe try going again on friday for another reading, because they are suppose to double every few days.

Depends on the type of blood test they did. If they did the 1 that measures exact numbers then no. It isnt too early and they woulda told you a number. If it was the one that just simply says yes or no then yes it could be wrong. Some clinics require over 5 to be yes and others over 25...

There are two types of blood pregnancy tests, namely, quantitative blood test which measures the exact amount of hCG in the blood and qualitative hCG blood test which gives a simple yes or no answer to whether you are pregnant or not.
