My boyfriend joined the Army Reserves a year ago and has only attended one training, WTC. WTC is bootcamp for previous service, he used to be Navy. Chris signed up to be a MP drill sergeant and he still needs to go to MP AIT, DS school, and PLDC (nco). He isn't scheduled for the first phase of AIT until June. Do any of you have an idea of whether or not they will speed up his training so he is qualified to deploy? As of right now he is not really doing any good for the Army and it would be nice if he could finish his training soon. It is not that I want him to go to Iraq but I think that if his unit deploys, he would prefer to be with them instead of at home waiting on more training. Thank you for reading.

Everything is based on slots- they might not have the space for him to train so he has too wait until there is room. My SGT still hasn't gone to BNCOC yet and she was promoted a most a year ago.
