So my DB and I talked a couple days ago. He had planned to propose to me but then thought that we should probably talk about it instead. Honestly, I'm glad he did. He's going to be leaving soon for deployment, I've been in and out of the hospital, school, work for both of us, parents, and just life was brought up and discussed. We finally decided that for us, it would be best to wait until he returns. It would "prove" to both of our parents that this relationship is not something that is going to fade or go away. (I just recently found out that his parents, who pretended to support us, don't agree with the relationship at all.) And honestly I think it will cement our trust in each other even more. He said that he was willing to marry me, but I don't want it to be rushed because he is going to be deployed. Everyone else is already rushing us and now the military too. So I say screw them all, you know? I was happy he agreed. It's like I told him, if anything he can propose through email or over the phone if he wants, but not until he is truly ready.

Well, just thought I'd let everyone know. Last time I was on here, I mentioned I thought he was going to ask. It's been crazy here!

It really is great that you were able to talk it over! My guy and I just had that talk over Christmas and as of right now we are also waiting until he gets back from his deployment. That is unless he changes his mind...he has been doing that a lot lately...:shrug
