It would be great if you guys were up to meeting in Gig Harbor though, since I would of been driving for 2.5 hrs and that's where my cousin lives.

But again, it's if there isn't any snow or ice on the pass!

Well, a summit or something, we have to drive over. I don't know. Some guys from his work told him we shouldn't go when it's been snowing or there's ice b/c we'll need chains at a certain area.

I don't think you even have to deal with any summits or anything Rach. Kindra's right, it's I-5 highway all the way to Tacoma, then you get on the 16. The hardest part about getting to Gig Harbor or Bremerton is the Narrows Bridge and that's right before Gig Harbor.

No summit no pass.. We drive down to Salem and Albany all the time. It's a 4 hour trip to Albany, three to Salem and only two from Portland endless traffic is terrible. But it's I-5 allllllllllllllllllll the way. No worries, you should never need chains on I-5 North to Seattle. The coldest area is normaly the Castle Rock area and that is our half way point. But still, we have never had any problems. Should be smooth sailing for ya!

Harbor Rock Cafe is alright. Their food is good... but the restaurant is really open... which I'm not a big fan of... so I don't go there a whole lot. I've never had a bad meal there though :)

You girls will enjoy it I'm sure.

It's pretty easy. Coming from Bremerton, take the Gig Harbor City Center exit.

At the light, take a left. Go straight through the next light and get in the right lane. At the next light (which is close), take a right onto Kimball Street. Drive maybe 3/4 of a mile.

Harbor Rock is in the corner of a big building complex on the lefthand side... you'll see a park & ride across the street.

Good thing someone knows the area! lol
