what do you do ? do you have job outside of the house or have a business from home or are you a SAHM? I am currently a SAHM and i know that when i get there i am wanting to work but i think i want to work from home, I dont think i want to do daycare because i am really a person to get stressed easily and with more than one kid pushing my buttons i just am not sure how i would handle it.i was thinking maybe medical transcriptioning .

I am a SAHM. Not alot of legit at home jobs out there. Most popular one is the CDC daycares. Or like avon, marykay etc. I do online surveys just for something to do. It only pays 5 bucks per survery and I prolly only make around a tank a gas a month :D

I'm a SAHM. I looked for a job when we got here but with 2 kids, one that was just 6 weeks when we got here, I couldn't find a job that made it worth working for how much money I was going to have to spend for day care. Now we have another baby on the way so I'll be a SAHM til this one is at least in Kindergarten, maybe longer.

I hope to be a stay at home mom, once we get there. I am working at Old Navy right now (in Nebraska) but once we get to Great Lakes my parents wont be there to help with the kids. LOL

We're trying for our first so we don't have any kids. I work full time and go to school full time. If we have kids my family is here so we'd get pretty cheap daycare, but even without that my pay is pretty reasonable so I'd still be ok. My company also has a Flexible spending account that you can contribute to for daycare which is awesome. It's a pretax deduction. They also have the healthcare one which I love, I use it quite a lot.

The down side is that jobs where I actually live pay really bad (cuz its not a real expensive place to live), so I have a 40 minute commute each way to Batavia. Blech. But there's plenty of jobs up in northern IL, especially the closer to Chicago you are. I interviewed at several places when I moved here and did lots of temp work so I had my choice from several offers.
