okay so my old psychiatrist wrote me a prescription for the anti-depressant i'm on under my new name so it'd be easier to fill it. well what do i have to do? just go down and fill it at the pharmacy on base just like i would at a walgreens or cvs? also how do i get a regular doctor?

I've had my civilian prescriptions filled at the base but I was enrolled TriCare. Make sure you are enrolled in TriCare and I don't think it will be a problem. To get a regular doctor, just be sure you are enrolled in Tricare. If you are TriCare Prime then go to the Base Hospital and they will have you fill out paper work and assign you a doctor. I'm not sure of all the working of TriCare standard but I sure you still have to go to the base hospital to fill out the paperwork then find a doctor out in town. You can go to the TriCare webpage or call them. I've found that it helps if I'm dealing with someone in person so I usually go to the TriCare office.

Its Tri West if you are in Washington.try to get a primary care docter in Washington fast . It will take longer to see a psychiatrist up there. I just had to deal withall that when I moved up there. It took me over a month to get in to see a psychiatrist. So I went to my PCM and she wrote me presciptions till I could see someone.
