For those of you that have been pregnant after having a C-section, did your uterus hurt more with the second than the first!! Im having really bad cramps and Im pretty sure its growing but could it be from the scar tissue thats making it worse??

It could be scar tissue. I have no advice for you on that.... I was more achey but that is about it....

i had very little scar tissue. even when they went in for Chris' section. which was section #3. Normally average for 2 prior ones is 30-45 from first incison till birth.... Chris it took 10 or 15 mins.

Its possible its the scar tissue. My incision itched a bit and as I got bigger every now and then it would hurt a teeny bit as it stretched but not alot. Are you very far post C-section? If not that could be why. The sooner you get pregnant after a C-section I imagine the more aware of it you'd be...

My children are only 22 months apart and I had c-sections for both. I didnt really have any aches or tenderness. Maybe it was because they were so close together though.:dunno

I never had a c-section but I had HORRIBLE ligament pain with all 3. It might just be that.

Not my uterus per say but the ends of the scar would sting and sometimes along the incision would hurt. I figured it was scar tissue.

I would get some scar tissue type pain with the 2nd & 3rd but no cramp-like pain that I recall. I don't remember anything really significant with any of them though. I still have scar tissue pain if I move wrong or too quickly and it pulls.

I also had the pain before I got pregnant if I moved to sharply in a certian direction.....but Im glad Im not the only one that feels different this pregnancy because of the C-section!

Hi !! i agree with PP's it sounds like scar tissue. I've found that by put a heating pad on for 10 mins helps.
