well I got thinking today that I wonder if I'm a month farther along than I think. I had a very light 3 day period(which is unusual for me) in december so could I be another month along? Everyone keeps commenting when they see me that I look farther along than 8 weeks for my first and I agree. Granted it could be twins but I am doubting that...just curious though :dunno if I was ahead a month I'd be 12 weeks and 6 days I think it said :wow I guess I will find out at the next dr. appt on March 6th

I wouldnt worry to much. To me you dont look that far along. Have you looked up pictures of people the same week as you? About.com has a really good section of pics. Being almost 13 weeks I think you would look bigger than you.
Are you getting a sonogram on your next visit??? Is so :yahoo

Could be. They'll probably check the baby's size by ultrasound at your appointment and then date the pregnancy based on that. I started showing pretty fast with this one, so you may just be "big". I was big enough that my OB commented on it (she said large uterus) but wasn't worried at my 8 week appointment.

Oh yeah... did they try and feel your uterus on your visit? They could tell that way too. If they didnt feel much, you are on target. If they could feel it higher up in your tummy, you would be farther along.

It's possible.... when you have your first u/s done that is what it is mainly for. To make sure that your dates are right.

i dunno. you look about 8 weeks to me, girlie. iwouldn't worry about it :)

well i doubt i'll get an u/s till the "big u/s" which sucks. She said in March the dr. will feel my uterus and see how far along I feel he should know how far along i'd be at that appt. by the sept. 11th date i'd be 13 weeks then....but if not they'd know then...just makes me wonder. the 6th of march is SOOOOO far away :rolleyes

Well it could happen..when I first found out I was preg. I thought I was due in June and now I am due a month exactly earlier...I had 2 AF's that seemed normal and were right on time when I was already preg. So the Dr will figure it out. they tried to do the intenal and they couldnt see all of the baby bc baby was so big as well as my uterus was too big. So then they had to do the regular US and had to measure babies head and figure out when I was Really due.
