has anyone heard about some marines in iraq asking starbucks to send them some coffee and then being told that starbucks doesn't support the war or anyone serving over there so they couldn't send them anything but they thanked them for their support?
if it is true, i suggest there should be a boycott of all starbucks! am i wrong?

I think it is false.
From what I understand (and it could be a rumor) they actually give their free supply to the troops. :shrug

I don't think that's true. If it were it is just the opinion of 1 CEO not the entire company.

They have Starbucks coffee on my dh's ship. I would not imagine them having it if they did something like that.

Nope not true at all ~I work for them and have for the past 5years ! We send coffee all over and many local stores particpate in sending coffee to those who are deployed from their own community !

Yeah that story had to be false b/c there is a starbucks here on base! I don't think they would have put on here if that was the case! IF it was true i would defiantly boycott them!!

Not true! My starbucks here even have a stand with pictures of different troops and a bucket for whoever wants to send something to the troops. Also when my husband got back from deployment they celebrated him and gave him free drinks.
