is so damn mean right now. :mad
She is an accountant so I know she is super SWAMPED at work, but she starts to go "mommy dearest" each year around this time.

I sent her a belly pic, for 12 weeks. And her response....
wow, thats not right. You shouldn't really be showing yet
Exact word for word.

:hehe I know it seems harmless, but I know her tone of voice... and it was meant as a blow. :mumble Mean mother.

I dont know. She was very small when she had me and my brother. I mean she looked like MAYBE 5 months when she was 9 months. So I guess she isnt use to seeing a BIG pregnant belly. And when I had my ds, I didnt even show until I was 5 months. I guess being 3 months and showing as much as I am, she doesnt think its "right" :rolleyes

My mom is a CPA as well so I know what you mean about being busy season i don't get as much alone time to talk to my mom as usual during this time but since this is her first grandchild she is ALL ABOUT MAKING time. Makes me happy. Every pic I sent my mom she's been exstatic to see. Hell if it's not good to show by 12 weeks I must be awful I'm showing at 8 and a half weeks.

I'm sorry Kat!! My Mom is a major butt most of the time too!! She has always told me that I am fat, so when I was about 5 months pregnant she kept telling me how huge I was, but everyone else couldn't even tell that I was pregnant. Finally enough people told me in front of her that I looked small she finally started saying it too. WTFever! She always finds a way though to tell me that I am fat. Like I'll say something like I feel so huge today and she says, "Well you are enormous" Bitch!!! lol!! Sorry I didn't mean to rant!!!
